Three houses. The Top House arguably has the best views — a few steps up to the front door, then a fully equipped kitchen, several bathrooms, a large dining and lounge area and laundry. The White House is the fanciest and most spacious, with the deluxe doubles and an ensuite double, and Lake Wakatipu and Walter Peak framed in the common room window. The Bottom House is easy to get to and holds the larger dorms, with its own lounge and kitchen.

There's a storage room for the luggage you don't want to carry up a mountain in summer, which becomes a drying room for ski and snowboard gear in winter. Coin-operated washers and dryers, an outdoor clothesline year round, limited on-site parking, and free tea and sugar for as long as you're here.
